In November 2012, M.Dono began a time and sequence project. Showing time three ways: Actual, Implied and chronological. The project used a familiar subject, Musician Dan Harrison. M.Dono and Dan Harrison have previously collaborated on several different occasions from CD sleeve designs, concert posters, t-shirt designs, prints and a guitar case design ddpiece. This time together they filmed a a music video for "Out of the Question" by Dan Harrison that would be inspired by a print by M.Dono from 2009. (duet: action image capture.)
The first one being implied time. In this version. The idea was captured by three sole images. shot from the same pose and position. The imaged were cropped and fused together in one photo. The image would act as the poster for this implied release. The first image, would be before the shave. The second, directly after the shave. The third, minutes after the shave.
The second being chronological. This one more than the rest was inspired by the 2009 print. shot from a different angle then the original print and fusing nine images instead of six. This version was made into a cd sleeve to holster the single of "Out of the Question."
The final installment to this project would be actual time. This would be a actual time video (with a twist) for "Out of the Question". The music video was shot at full frame, when finished (halfway through the song) the video would play backwards from ending to beginning. In the end we see Dan Harrison shave, then unshaven. Something in the real world that would in fact be out of the question.
